Welcome to Cupid ‘N Cleopatra!
Somewhere along the time-space continuum, black men and women drifted away from each other. Our inability to maintain successful relationships not only affects us as individuals, but it also weakens our global community as a whole. Generations of single-parent households have hindered us from building long-term wealth. Too many of our children do not witness love and long-term commitment firsthand; in turn, they grow into adults who are less trusting of each other and repeat the same cycle of short-term destructive behavior. This site is dedicated to interactive and candid dialogue about dating, love, sex and marriage in the black community – everything from the mistakes we make early in the game to the things that can break us a part down the road. I believe that everyone deserves love and that it is the bedrock of a healthy society. Ancient Egypt was the most powerful civilization on the planet; coincidentally, it was born off the backs of black men and women working together. Unfortunately, that era ended in 31 B.C. – I think it’s about time we build a bridge across the Nile that divides us and reunite the Pharaohs with their beloved Cleopatras.
Believe in black love, people.
Black singles to black couples. Black couples to black families.
Black families to a stronger black future.
…and it all starts with re-opening the lines of communication.
